Dr. Rose Ihedigbo the Executive Director. Dr. Ihedigbo spearheaded the opening of the Kiddie Academy of Lakes of Savannah. She studied at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she received her Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees in Early Childhood Education. She is a Certified Master Trainer with the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development at the University of Texas. Also, Educational Consultant with Go NAPSACC.
She was one of the first fifteen Quality Assurance Specialists who created and designed the Maryland EXCELS Quality Improvement Rating System (QIRS) with the Maryland State Department of Education. She has worked in the field of Early Care and Education for over Forty years. She has managed, organized, and implemented various and numerous programs for children and families. Some of these programs included but not limited to Early Intervention Programs for Infants and Toddlers (17 years), Child Care Centers, After School Programs, Parent Centers, Good Start and Healthy Start programs and Head Start programs across the states. She was a Federal Government, Department of Health and Human Services, programs Reviewer for thirteen years.
Dr. Rose, as she is known, is an experienced professional in the field of Early Childhood Education, providing training and professional Development to Early Childhood Education Professionals.
She is the Owner and Chief Manager of the Ihedigbo Consulting Group (ICG) LLC, an Independent Consulting Group that offers professional workshops, public speaking and community organizing.
She is the author of the book “Sandals in the Snow”: A True Story of One African Family’s Journey to Achieving the American Dream, published February 2013. This fascinating memoir recounts the amazing journey of an African family searching for the American dream. She has also written two children’s books (English and Spanish) .Why the Turtle’s Head is Bald: A Tale from Nigeria and Why the Turtle Has a Broken-Patterned Shell : A Tale from Nigeria.
She is the President and Co-Founder of the Nigerian, American Technical and Agricultural College in Abia State, Nigeria.
She is most importantly the mother of five amazing children, Onyii Brown (Fashion Designer and Realtor), Emeka (Entrepreneur), Nathaniel (School Principal), David (Certified Trainer), James (NFL Super Bowl Champion and Owner of Kiddie Academy Facilities) and fourteen grandchildren.
Dr. Rose Ihedigbo has received the following awards and Citations.
Official Citation from the State Senate of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Congratulation and receiving the 2007 Human Service Forum’s “Robert J. Van Wart” Manager Award, and in 2008 for being named the Oral Health Hero, for advocating and promoting Oral Health Education for children and families, and numerous other certificates and achievements.
Robyn Humphrey is a dedicated early childhood education leader, children’s book author, and advocate with a passion for nurturing young minds and building strong educational foundations for children and families. With extensive experience in early learning environments, she has committed her career to creating safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate spaces where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
Robyn is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University, where she earned her degree and strengthened her commitment to education and community impact.
Robyn currently serves in a leadership role at The ROCK Early Learning Center, where she oversees daily operations, staff development, and curriculum implementation. She is known for her ability to lead with excellence, structure, and compassion—ensuring that both children and educators thrive in a supportive and faith-centered environment.
Her expertise includes curriculum planning, staff training, family engagement, and program development. Robyn is especially passionate about equipping teachers with the tools and strategies they need to effectively support children at every developmental stage. She also works closely with families to foster strong partnerships that enhance each child’s educational journey.
As a children’s book author, Robyn extends her impact beyond the classroom by creating meaningful, faith-based, and developmentally appropriate stories that support emotional growth, character building, and literacy in young readers. Her work reflects her commitment to shaping the hearts and minds of children through both education and storytelling.
In addition to her administrative leadership, Robyn brings a unique blend of educational and spiritual guidance to her work. As a children’s director at her church, she integrates values-based learning and character development into early childhood education, emphasizing the importance of purpose, identity, and emotional well-being in young learners.

Debrilya Williams serves as the Assistant Director of The ROCK Early Learning Center, where she leads with a passion for excellence, structure, and child-centered care. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW), which strengthens her approach to supporting children, families, and staff through a holistic and compassionate lens.
With a strong focus on operational leadership, staff development, and family engagement, Debrilya ensures that the center maintains high standards in both education and compliance. She is committed to creating a nurturing, organized, and faith-filled environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.
Her leadership reflects a heart for service, a dedication to community impact, and a vision for building strong foundations in early childhood education.
Damon Hoyle is a mission-driven education leader and lifelong advocate dedicated to expanding opportunity and improving lives for the next generation. He is working with his pastor, Dr. Dana Carson, to build out the newly formed Carson Academy of Kingdom Excellence (CAKE), a private Christian school focused on academic excellence and faith-based values. Damon previously served as Associate Director at the Texas Private Schools Association, Senior Project Manager at the Texas Education Agency, and Chief Operating Officer of ProUnitas Inc. A former KIPP and Houston ISD educator and administrator, he is a 2007 Teach For America alum and has completed fellowships with Education Pioneers, Leadership ISD, the Cambiar Catalyst Fellowship, and others. He recently completed the Reform Leaders’ Summit, a Catholic-Christian leadership formation program that equips advocates to champion school choice, parental rights, education policy reform, and equity. Damon holds degrees from the University of Virginia and Columbia University, serves as board treasurer for the Texas Black Expo, and is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
